I enjoy working with children with Autism, behavior disorders, and learning disabilities. I use applied behavior analysis and create goals for each child. I am flexible, willing to modify my approach. I want children to feel comfortable in my presence. I practice wait time and patience with each child. I feel that tutoring is a very rewarding job. My education and experience has provided me with many techniques for teaching. I cannot wait to get my Masters degree, so I will have more opportunities to teach.
I was Lead Tutor at Armstrong Atlantic State University (2001-2003) in the Writing Center. I had previously tutored at Greenfield Community College in the Learning Center (1996-1998).
