I have several years of tutoring youth at my church. Students range in ages between 4 to 21 years of age. I have tutor students in elementary and middle school math, english, languaage arts and history. I enjoy teaching and workind with children of all ages. I believe that students learn better working in small groups or one on one. I also believe that students will learn better with a more hands on approach to the material. I believe all children can learn, but that all children learn differently. Having taught special education, I had a range of grade levels in my class. I have 6 years experience tutoring various aspects of math and chemistry to individuals of all ages: I was varsity captain of my high school math team and led tutoring sessions for algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
