As a University of Buea graduate with a bachelor of sciences degree in Chemistry and Botany I have a sound knowlege in Sciences and Mathematics. I have been a paraeducator at Mongomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Maryland for over three years, during which I established sound relationships with students and staff based on mutual trust. The past two years I have been teaching Freshman Composition at Florida Atlantic University. I was required to teach critical thinking skills, writing, grammar, and reading. Most of my teaching experience is from one to one tutoring. I have tutored over 20 students and always received compliments regarding my reliability, punctuality, style and patience. I have tutored for students with ages raging from 14 to 25 years old and included algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, etc. I worked as an 8th grade math teacher for a Catholic School as well. I lectured algebra and geometry to 3 different groups of 50 to 55 students. My one to one teaching style is tailored to adapt to the students learning style.
