Experience Summary
I love being a teacher. I have worked with many different children. I have taught children who speak other languages. I have taught children and have been a success. I have worked with low income children for many years. It was important to research and attend to each child as an individual and attain his/ her educational goals. I volunteer two nights a week teaching children. It is a great joy to work with the children. I have a BA degree in elementary education from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton ,FL. I was an elementary school teacher for Palm Beach County Schools In West Palm Beach , FL. I now live in VA and am a substitute teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools. I substitute in elementary and middle schools.
Teaching Style
My way of teaching is learning each individual child's way of learning. Then it is important to teach that child according to the way he/ she will learn to succeed. I enjoy children and they enjoy working with me. I find humor and put children at ease. I listen to what they have to say to me. I expect children to be able to attain very high goals. I firmly know each child can success and I will do research to find out the approach to each child's learning the subject.
