Experience Summary
The past two years I have been teaching Freshman Composition at Florida Atlantic University. I was required to teach critical thinking skills, writing, grammar, and reading. Previously, I taught 10th grade English (regular and honors) at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, FL. Before teaching high school I was a middle school Language Arts teacher (7th and 8th grade). With both my jobs in Broward County, I was required to work with my students on reading, writing, and grammatical skills. Furthermore, throughout my years of teaching I have been tutoring all ages and abilities.
Teaching Style
I am a born teacher. I truly love teaching and seeing my students learn. My philosophy is that all students are capable of learning at any level but some need more attention and different perspectives in order to achieve their goals. In my years of teaching I have worked with all levels and abilities which I believe has allowed me to learn from my students and become a better teacher.
