I have two types of degrees, one in Physics and two in Engineering. That enabled me to teach a wide range of subjects. I was a very popular teacher in the four universities in Baghdad. Some of my students are now professors at the US universities. My teaching style is to make the subject easy for the comprehension of the students. I normally give homeworks. Students must do these homeworks. I judge their understanding from the way they solve the homeworks.

I have been at Fccj for a little over two years. I have studied and mastered a variety of subjects. I am starting JU next summer to earn my BSN. I currently have my AA degree in nursing.I've spent a lot of time in the student life and leadership department that works one on one with students to help them with college success. I would say that my teaching style varies depending onthe person I am teaching. There are several ways that people respond to in order for them to understand. I thik that everyone has a unique teaching style but still needs to be flexible in order to help the student understand.

After sub teaching the last couple of years I have found most kids want to learn but need a lot of "structure". If their personal "structure" isn't there it is difficult for them. This is also true for kids who are advanced. I believe in no cell phones, electronic devices, and trying to figure out what each child strengths and weaknesses are and then use those strengths to help them learn. I am not against having background music playing during homework time because it doesn't bother other children. It is a problem however in the classroom. I am currently waiting for my certification from the Florida Department of Education, to teach math from grades 6 to 12, and chemistry from grades 6 to 12.
