I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and reports in various areas of study. During the last eight years of my military career I have counseled Sailors in pursuing a college education and tutored several of these same Sailors in English and mathematics.

I have two types of degrees, one in Physics and two in Engineering. That enabled me to teach a wide range of subjects. I was a very popular teacher in the four universities in Baghdad. Some of my students are now professors at the US universities. My teaching style is to make the subject easy for the comprehension of the students. I normally give homeworks. Students must do these homeworks. I judge their understanding from the way they solve the homeworks.

I am currently waiting for my certification from the Florida Department of Education, to teach math from grades 6 to 12, and chemistry from grades 6 to 12. I was a substitute teacher in the Folsom Cordova School District in California during the 2007-2008 school year. I am currently working a substitute teacher in the Flagler County, Florida School District. I have worked as an engineer for 3M, ITW, Medtronic, and Waste Management. I have two patents. The first is developing a bio-stable polyurethane that potentially be used as an implantable material. The second was a membrane that filters out radioactive ions out of waste streams. I have worked at SAC bases throughout the US. I will start a new career path teaching hopefully soon. I would say that my teaching style varies depending onthe person I am teaching. There are several ways that people respond to in order for them to understand. I thik that everyone has a unique teaching style but still needs to be flexible in order to help the student understand. I have been at Fccj for a little over two years. I have studied and mastered a variety of subjects. I am starting JU next summer to earn my BSN. I currently have my AA degree in nursing.I've spent a lot of time in the student life and leadership department that works one on one with students to help them with college success.
