Flexible - it depends on the student's needs and preference. One size fits all teaching is poor teaching. My tutoring experience has mainly focused on SAT / ACT prep and ESL (TOEFL). I have also been a high school / middle school teacher in social studies / history / humanities for the past 4 years. I'm now working on my Masters at UH-Manoa. My own SAT score is a perfect 2400 (800 for Critical / 800 Math / 800 Writing , which I am happy to show you proof of), but even more important is the fact that I know how to teach the material to students at ALL levels (those trying to break 1500 to those trying to break 2200 for the SAT). My teaching style is based on an inquiry-based learning method. I do not give students answers. I ask them the right questions to get them to figure out the answer themselves.
