Experience Summary
An ideal juxtaposition of East meets West is vested within me, and lives through the knowledge of cultural ethnology, protocols, and languages of inter-continental roots. I am experienced teaching multiple subjects kindergarten, primary, secondary, tertiary, including English, high mathematics, science, computers, Mandarin Chinese, arts, and sports. I taught English as a Second Language to Japanese, Swiss, German, and French students. I am a Microsoft Office Specialist and Master Instructor. I have trained federal (including U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force) and state employees on end-user software applications. I am confident and able to tutor most high school and college level math. In summary, I'm a very, unique individual whose instructional core is a conglomeration of specialties. I breathe a global perspective and arithmetic integration of educational, business, and governance values, vital to the emotional, social, linguistic, athletic, and academic nurturing of a child.
Teaching Style
Teaching is as much a process as learning. It can be carried out most effectively only when it's driven by self-motivation. I'm in teaching because I want to be. It brings me joy... gets me excited in the morning going to work. Such zest in easily reflected in the way I teach. My students feel my enthusiasm; they witness my taking a personal interest in their learning. In a dynamic cycle of influence, we fuel each other in our educational mission... be it thorny tests, understanding of concepts, or simply, having fun. More important than anything else, my ears, and heart are always open to them... they teach me how to teach.
