My comments on tutoring Jazz Dancing : I have danced most of my life and Jazz has always been one of my best and most common dance types.

I have always wanted to teach! So any opportunity I got in high school I took it! I was enrolled in the teaching academy all through high school. Through this academy I got to intern/teach many different grade levels. I started with a kindergarten class and then moved up to 6th grade P.E. and Science, then I moved to 3rd grade. I was also hired by the school district to be an AVID tutor for 7th and 8th graders. I have danced most of my life so when I was offered to co-choreograph the plays at my old Middle School I took it and did that for four years. I am also currently volunteering at my church to teach a class for 3rd graders on Sundays.

If I can nurture a passion in their minds and spirits, they will continue to learn when we are no longer together. My curious mind grows my understanding to become deep and wide, making it easy for me to explain the same idea in a variety of ways. My personality is joyful, energetic, and encouraging.

I have taught Sunday School to all ages of elementary students and have also helped young children appreciate the wonder of learning as I taught them kindergarten basics.
