I’m a graduate of Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and Marketing Education. I spent most of my working career in business, management and sales. 2009, I returned to my first love, the classroom. I’m currently a substitute teacher in the Washoe County School District, ACE Charter, and some private schools. I hope to soon have a full time teaching position, when a position becomes available. I have knowledge of the various impedements to learning and am able to help a student overcome them. I believe all children can learn, you just need to be patient and understanding. I spent 3 years subsituting in the Sacramento USD system while I went to school for my credentials. I then taught in a pull-out RSP program in 4th and 5th grade ,1/2 time and a high school push-out RSP program the rest of the day. I have also taught 3rd grade. In the past I spent 3 years teaching driving and I have been a sales trainer. I home-schooled my daughter, and she is in college now with a 3.oo gpa.
