Upon earning my MBA degree, I harnessed those skills as a Sales Analyst, Sales Consultant, and Financial Advisor. However, my organized nature and strong passion for numbers led me back to Accounting. I have lived in South Jersey all of my life. I received my degree in Accounting from Stockton and have spent most of my career in finance working my way up to Controller for several businesses. When I was laid off, I had always wanted to try teaching and I loved it. I love working with kids (I also coach baseball and football), I really get a kick out of passing my knowledge onto them and seeing their face when it sinks in.
Math to me is like a puzzle... if you can imagine the pieces in your mind, fitting them together in practice is so much easier. I have been an executive on Wall Street, a Chief Financial Officer, a Comptroller. I have either started or been a key player in ten start-up ventures. I have taught a two credit course in personal finance, been a lecturer for economics courses at Richard Stockton State College, been a substitute on the high school level and have been a business instructor at the Harris Business School.
