I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education based on my own families background and my own. Because I was overlooked it gave me the desire to help those that seemed mostlikely to not succeed. I earned a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education while working full time and being a full time mom. I went on to earn my Masters in Education and Psychology/Counseling. I have a Bachelors degree in PSychology and a Masters degree in Social Work specializing in working with children/families. I have 13 years of experience working with children in the educational and home setting helping to mentor them by providing them with the tools necessary to be academically successful. I have not only counseled students in school but have assisted them in staying on tasks and completing assignments; as well as tutoring in reading, math, spelling, language arts, test taking, etc.
