I am a working, free-lance flutist here in LA. I have my BM degree in flute performance from CSUN, and have been playing for 28 years. I have always been the top or one of the top players in all venues I have played for. I currently play for many orchestras in southern california. I have been teaching all levels of flute for 20 years now. I also teach beginning to intermediate piano. Over a span of nearly 30 years, I have studied with some amazing flutists/teachers, and learned some wonderful teaching techniques.
The student's needs come first, so I always teach based on their long-term goals. Learning music should be fun, so I encourage this while pushing student's to be the best.
