A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, and as such I am certified to teach all sciences and math at all grade levels in the State of Florida. My specialties in math are Algebra and Trigonmetry; my specialty in science is Physics. I was a substitute teacher from 4/08 through 5/09 in the Indian River School District. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy helping people, particularly kids. It's a very good feeling to help kids understand so many of the concepts in science, math and computers that tend to stump them. I am an easy going and focused individual. I generally teach kids by relating the subject to something they are interested in. There is a very good example of this in the movie "Big", where Tom Hanks character is teaching algebra to a boy who likes basketball. This is a technique that I use frequently.
