First, I analyze my students to determine their learning style. Based on that, I customize my lessons to fit each individual student's needs. I commonly use visual tools such as colorful drawings and try to connect the material to real world situations.
I majored in Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the UNAM in Mexico City. I did not graduate from high school but I knew I had to and could put myself through college. It was during this time in my life that I began to appreciate the importance of education. It was after this time that my past situation aided me in landing my first job in education. I was offered a position to teach non-traditional high school students who were just like I used to be. As a freshman in high school, I was given a chance to teach rhythmic gymnastics to a small group of beginner gymnast.
