I have had a wide range of teaching experiences. I have taught in the public school as well as private school. I have tutored children from the grades of kindergarten through fourth grade. I have taught overseas as well where the population was mainly Asian students.
I like the one on one aspect of tutoring. I enjoy teaching, but I really like tutoring because I get to know the child and am able to help him/her with his or her specific area of need. I like to make learning fun by playing learning games with the student. I am a Christian and I believe all children are unique and have their own abilities. I have loved education since I was a child, and being the daughter of two educators gave me a lot of early learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Northeastern State Univeristy. I was a para professional for 5 years and worked with special education classrooms, then I taught for 5 years. I taught Pre-K and 2nd Grade, and I loved it.

A Little Bit About Me...

Since the age of six I have studied classical piano, recently finishing my piano studies at the bachelors degree level. I am currently finishing a general education science course and will receive my official diploma in August. I have taught many students from home as well as in a studio at a local music shop, on campus, and at churches. Teaching and accompanying soloists; instrumentalists, vocalists,choirs, and bands have been most of my work experience since graduating highschool six years ago.
