I acheived a B. S. in Education in 1975. My major was Spanish with a minor in French. My personal goals as an undergraduate was to obtain an education that would allow me to work in education and business as an educated professional. I continued my education with post graduate studies in business and healthcare science. I worked toward adding science to my teaching certificate in the 1980s. I have worked with children of all ages both at home and in schools as well as adults.
I prefer to teach in a classroom environment with a structure and learning standards. I can also teach in a one on one tutoring session. As a graduate student in Sociology at Wichita State University, I was able to explore my passion for human behavior with great detail and rigor. During this time, I was able to use SPSS extensively for statistics and data analysis for Crosstabs, Frequencies, T-tests, ANOVA, Correlations, Descriptives, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, OLS Regression, and Weights.
