A Little Bit About Me...

My motto is simple: In all of your getting, get an understanding. I truly belive that every child can learn. Even a child with a disadvantage still comes with an advantage because they are always getting some help. It also depends on the child also. We must both be focused on the task at hand and together we must tackle it until it is thoroughly understood.
For the last past six years I have enjoyed my students. They never cease to amaze me with all the many things that they can grasp when you try. I was an assistant in JPS. Tutoring was my job. I have also tutored other grades up to fifth. I really enjoy kids and I always wish the best for them. I have also had to be the actual teacher for the remainder of the school year and did grades and end of the school year things due to the teachers' emergency leave.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am very thorough but I am able to explain things in the simplest way for everyone to understand. I enjoy English/Langauage Arts and do not mind explaining things more than once in order for the students to be successful. I enjoy working with others and maintain a positive and encouraging attitude. I want everyone I tutor to have a positive and fun learning experience and maintaining good English skills can be beneficial during their lives.
I am currently a graduate student persuing a Masters in Music Education at Jackson State University. I have always been exceptionally gifted in English and writing. I have entered and won several writing contests throughout grade school, high school, and as an undergraduate.
