I am a professional violinist and teacher. I have been teaching private lessons for 7 years and have been running my own home studio for 4 years. I have taught all ages of students ranging from age 3 - 70. I have experience teaching in the schools and am currently the strings teacher at St. Anthony Catholic School in Madison, MS. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a graduate student persuing a Masters in Music Education at Jackson State University. I have always been exceptionally gifted in English and writing. I have entered and won several writing contests throughout grade school, high school, and as an undergraduate. I have assisted my peers in proofreading their papers and have also read stories to 2nd graders.
I am very thorough but I am able to explain things in the simplest way for everyone to understand. I enjoy English/Langauage Arts and do not mind explaining things more than once in order for the students to be successful. I enjoy working with others and maintain a positive and encouraging attitude. I want everyone I tutor to have a positive and fun learning experience and maintaining good English skills can be beneficial during their lives.
