A Little Bit About Me...

Following my graduation from USM, I had many experiences teaching a variety of children from many cultures. Having taught in a DODDS school in Karlsruhe, Germany I was exposed to the German way of teaching. My first year of teaching was in an inner city school thar offered many challengs. I believe my experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds prepared me to handle any situation in the teaching environment.
I love children and I love teaching them. I believe in an individualized style of teaching that caters to a child's individual needs. Because I love teaching, I am a patient and caring teacher. I believe every child can learn, and implement a way of learning around that belief. I like to make a difference and "see the light come on". When it does, I know I have done my job.

I have been working with young children since 2005. I started as a pre-school teacher with ages 3-5. For the past five years I have worked as an elementary school Teacher's Assistant. It was there when I got the most of my experience in classroom management and actually how to teach all children with different learning styles. I worked with grades second, pre-K, fifth, and first. I just recently graduated from Jackson State Unversity and I am currently teaching for HCHRA-Project Head Start. My classroom consists of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. My teaching skills are excellent I'm ery creative when it comes down to learning. I love working with children and I will always remember my main goal "NO Children Left Behind". Reason for me saying that is every child deserve a chance.
