I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! By understanding the make-up of cellular structures and relating that to tissue functions the students can fully understand a subject. This proves true with all subjects. My comments on tutoring Organic Chemistry : I took both Organic Chemistry I and II and did well in both classes. I need to know what material to tutor on before so I can prepare.

I have tutored Biology in the past and have helped students with anatomy and physiology.
