Through a series of deliberate, well-directed, leading questions from a tutor, the student arrives at the "answer" through his or her own reasoning process, as opposed to getting the answer through a tutor spitting out information. My teaching style is energetic and over the top. I like to think back to when I was in school and the subjects that stuck out to me, and why. It was because I was having fun learning, and that is how I try to approach each of my lessons. I relate them to real world situations if possible and try to put a personal spin on my lessons. I used both teacher-centered and student-centered styles because although coaching and facilitating a student in understanding the language, having the knowledge of which countries speak the language and the different terminology used by each countries can be a benefit to a student.
