Spanish is one of my top subjects!

The languages I listed are simply the the ones I use more often, but are not limited to those I am able to speak and/or teach. Of the three I use Spanish the most (as I use it everyday at work and home). My knowledge and abilities on the languages I speak is not limited to basic textbook understanding. I include all aspects, such as: textbook; common phrases/conversation; and slang. I have been involved with numerous volunteer projects in which I translated and/or taught for different languages and communities. I also have many close friends who's native tongues are of the ones I've listed. I even help teach them and/or their children English.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : I took Honors Spanish courses throughout high school and excelled in each of them. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Christian Brothers University, having Spanish as my minor.

Hello! I am a full time ESL teacher that really enjoys the Spanish language. I lived in Mexico for a year and a half with Mexican families where I took intensive Spanish classes. Being submerged in the language and culture is the best way to learn! I studied Spanish in Costa Rica as well as took classes in undergrad so I have a good working knowledge of the language and enjoy passing my knowledge along. After retiring from Memphis City Schools, I taught Spanish for State Tech (now Southwestern), FedEx Trade Networks, and Regions Bank. Also, I tutor Spanish for students at MUS and St. Mary's. I have been tutoring and teaching for many years now. I started out on a small-scale in high school, without any experience, doing community service hours tutoring children at the TN Baptist Home. While I was studying for my undergraduate degree, I did scholarship hours doing private tutoring in English for International Students.
