Spanish is one of my top subjects!

The languages I listed are simply the the ones I use more often, but are not limited to those I am able to speak and/or teach. Of the three I use Spanish the most (as I use it everyday at work and home). My knowledge and abilities on the languages I speak is not limited to basic textbook understanding. I include all aspects, such as: textbook; common phrases/conversation; and slang. I have been involved with numerous volunteer projects in which I translated and/or taught for different languages and communities. I also have many close friends who's native tongues are of the ones I've listed. I even help teach them and/or their children English.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : I took Honors Spanish courses throughout high school and excelled in each of them. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Christian Brothers University, having Spanish as my minor.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping people and do my best to explain everything in detail. Math and chemistry come easier to me than others, and I understand this. That is why I take my time and do not get frustrated. My style of teaching is very associative. I like to take any material that my student is trying to learn and present it in a way they can relate to, or may apply to them directly. The different lifestyles of our students affect their learning behaviors. A child who has never been more than ten miles from home and whom has never seen a play, may find it difficult to relate to William Shakespeare.
