I like to have a guide for the daily work and have specific goals every day. However, when someone is interested in a different subject, I like to explore that topic. I think it is very important to keep students alert and motivated, so I like to explore all types of learning expericences. For example, I enjoy working with the special education children, getting them to stretch and walk outside. I like to play music to them and get them to sing along. A Little Bit About Me...

Fair, firm and consistent are my mantras of classroom management. In that, I believe that all children deserve a safe, clean, engaging, yet structured environment in which to meet their full potential. I firmly believe that learning is a team affair, and practice the standards of cooperative learning.
For the past year-and-a-half, I have worked as a long-term substitute teacher for the Palm Springs Unified School District, acting as the virtual teacher of record in dedicated classrooms on several occasions. Inherent in that experience, I developed lesson plans and graded student work, as well as liaised with parents and administration. I am versed in the California Content Standards across curriculums and have passed my CBEST, as well as my CSET.
