As an Anthropology major, I was qualified to work as an archaeologist with the Joshua Tree National Park for 7 years. I was responsible for site recognition, recording and records keeping. I also interacted with the public as an employee of the park. I also led my own tour groups, all ages and abilities, into the desert for historic and nature tours.
