A Little Bit About Me...

The past five years has provided me with an amazing amount of knowledge and experience. Completing a Master's degree in special education, teaching elementary students with disabilities, working as an adjunct professor and being the Director of Early College at Northwestern Technical College are just a few examples of those experiences. During my years as an undergraduate English major, I was drawn to the world of teaching and tutoring through two part-time positions, including one on-campus, with college-aged students, and one with elementary to high school-aged students. I loved seeing my students' pleasure at learning how to comprehend the words they read, to assimilate that information into an in-depth college essay, to finally grasp that one bit of knowledge that so alluded them.
