To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. Mostly recently I broaden my range to elementary to high school. I do very well in mathematics except for geometry, Pre-cal, abd calculus because i am not registered for those classes. I'm also good in science.
My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.

Learning Math can be FUN!

I try to explain concepts by explaining the methods behind them. Once a student understands the concepts, it is easier for them to apply them to other problem situations.
With over 35 years experience teaching math, I have successfully taught students from third grade through college calculus. I enjoy math, and my students are able to understand it in a one-to-one teaching environment. During this time of closed schools, it is difficult for students to understand and adapt to this new way of learning. Chemistry tutor at local learning center. All of my students received a passing final grade ( so far)! I taught 19 courses of biology/anatomy to undergraduate students at ECU. This was the most joyful time in my career. I've discovered that chemistry is difficult because teachers only teach one way. It begins to click when a student hears the same info from a different perspective.
Hands on. Using a board to explain concepts and then letting student take a try. Most students learn better by doing.

My comments on tutoring Chemistry : Took AP chemistry in high school and college chemistry and aced the classes.

I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. I have a passion for learning and love when I can help others learn complex material and pass classes. I have aced College Math up through Differential Equations and Calculus 3 algebra, trigonometry and geometry are foundations of the higher mathematics and therefore I understand them extremely well. I know the basics of both electrical and mechanical engineering mathematics.
