My comments on tutoring Chemistry : Took AP chemistry in high school and college chemistry and aced the classes.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations. So I often will talk about the big topics that have been covered explain why they are useful and then show the student how to perform various calculations or apply the nessecary logic to solve problems.
I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. I have a passion for learning and love when I can help others learn complex material and pass classes. To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. Mostly recently I broaden my range to elementary to high school. I do very well in mathematics except for geometry, Pre-cal, abd calculus because i am not registered for those classes. I'm also good in science.
My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.

Chemistry tutor at local learning center. All of my students received a passing final grade ( so far)! I taught 19 courses of biology/anatomy to undergraduate students at ECU. This was the most joyful time in my career. I've discovered that chemistry is difficult because teachers only teach one way. It begins to click when a student hears the same info from a different perspective.
