My comments on tutoring Testing Skills : I have taught 15 years of GED prep which includes testing skills.

I am an honors graduate of U.S.F. with forty years of teaching experience. In addition to my B.A. and M.A. degrees, I completed all cousework for the ED.D. I have taught FCAT preperation in middle school in math and reading. I have also taught GED Prep in the evenings. I taught junior high math one year. I have also written two books. One is a history jokebook. The other is a memoir of humorous classroom incidents. I believe that these experiences qualify me to tutor social studies, reading, and math.
My style is student centered. I always try to provide a positive atmosphere for learning. My jokes were a technique to help accomplish that goal. As a GED teacher I always began with a pretest and documented student progress to correct any deficiencies. Good High school student looking to make money,

i usual do hands on activity because personally that's how i learn best. i am able to adapt to the way the chld learns best tho. Also i have experience with special ed children and am willing to work with them.
I am a high schooler with good grades.
