I have a very diverse background and I have many years of experience teaching in different subjects. I was an English teacher for one year in Korea, teaching children at a public school. I have taught fine art at a private school in Salinas. I have also been teaching martial arts and self-defense for over 10 years. I have worked with children as young as 4, to adults in their senior years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from San Jose State and I graduated with honors.
I enjoy working with students of all ages. As a teacher, there is nothing greater than to see my students succeed. I am more results-oriented and I encourage students to work persistently until they have accomplished their goals. I am friendly, patient, and easy going. Although I push my students to work hard, I also like to have fun and make the learning experience enjoyable as well.

At times students or overwhelming with new concepts, and they need to be encouraged, and praise until they can accomplish the task at hand. I enjoy seeing the appearence of awareness on a childs face, when they have accomplished a goal, or solved a problem they had difficulty solving. I believe tutoring a child can be a powerful tool, and it can also unleash a potential genius.
