My comments on tutoring Spanish : My first language to learn was Spanish. I am bilingual.

I teach in many ways through a book or how I was taught by my teachers. I am open-minded and try to figure out what is the best way to teach a person I am trying to help.
I am currently finishing my first year in college. I have a High School diploma and an award as an AP Scholar. I enjoy math and I am passing my DS-71 math course with an A at Fresno State. Breaking things down from the most simple problem to the most difficult can help the student understand the basics of each math problem
I help the kids I babysit with their math work from school and a few other subjects as long as I understand the material. I am bilingual and have been a flutist for seven years. My comments on tutoring Spanish : Took 6 years of Spanish from grades 7-12

My teaching 'style' is a bit unique, in my opinion. By that, I mean that every child/student 'learns' differently, so I must 'adapt' my style 'on the fly' after determining what is the most effective approach/style/method for that individual student. In addition, the subject that I am teaching also affects my style and some 'tools' that I learned as a youngster and a teacher are also implemented frequently.
I was trained to be a teacher at CSU-Fresno, where I graduated in May, 1999. I substituted for 3 consecutive years in Fresno, Clovis, and Madera Unified School districts at grade levels 3-12. I received my Master's Degree in Sports Administration from the American Public University system in May, 2011, and graduated with Honors and a 4.0 GPA. I am currently trying to obtain my credential and hope to be an Athletic Director one day.

Once I graduated from college I had the opportunity to join the Boys & Girls Clubs, specifically designing educational and technology programs. I enjoyed tutoring about 50 youth a day.
