My comments on tutoring GED : I have been helping students pass the GEDs for over 8 years. I have worked for large test prep companies in the past. I have worked with many school districts offering affordable GED tutorial sessions.

I have enjoyed tutoring since high school. During college, I tutored college level math and chemistry. After college I worked for a large test prep company teaching SAT prep courses in various high schools. My education background is in biology (BA Molecular & Cell Biology, UC Berkeley) so I especially love tutoring science and math. My expertise is in standardized test prep (mainly SAT and GRE for graduate schools). My experience is not only tutoring and teaching, but also developing test prep material for both SAT and GREs
Most tutors merely act as a solutions manual for off the shelf test prep books. I believe in providing my students a fully comprehensive curricula that covers both strategy and subject matter. I stated tutoring privately and through the college when I was a student myself to see if teaching was something I wanted to do as a career. I tutored all my college years and realized that this is exactly what I want to wake up for every day. I earned my BS and single subject in Mathematics from Fresno State University.
