My doctoral dissertation examined college-level remedial reading and writing students in an effort to determine if adding online instruction to traditional instruction would improve student performance. My dissertation explored five hypotheses, and I found statistical significance in all five; thereby supporting the notion that adding online instruction to traditional instruction can improve student learning. I really like working with all sorts of people. There is no satisfaction greater than when I can see the spark in a person's eye when they comprehend materials they had not before. Everyone can learn any material they set their mind to if they have the motivation and the proper learning environment, and of course the right teacher. It is my desire to be a great teacher, educator, and mentor.
As a recent graduate from the University of California Riverside, I have earned a bachelors of science degree from the institution. During my time at UCR I developed a passion for the sciences which was taught by dedicated professors who served as my mentors.
