A Little Bit About Me...

As a high school teacher for 13 years, I have had a profound impact on the academic and personal success of a great majority of my students. I have won many "inspirational teacher awards" and have been identified by many of my students as the teacher most responsible for their success. They have said that I have made learning interesting, fun, and rewarding for them because I have a unique way of helping students make meaningful connections between academics and their lives. I have traveled to 53 countries, been a professional singer, a collegiate national champion in crew, and a triathelete.
