I am a fan of teaching people who are eager and willing to learn. If a person actually wants to learn, then the trick is merely to be patient, build up a persons confidence, and try as many angles as possible until you find the right one that clicks with how they best learn and are able to understand. A Little Bit About Me...

Wanting to teach is the major reason I got my PhD. I've always had a love of learning, and want to be able to share that with students. It is important to understand that all students are different and no one approach will work for all students. In my experience teaching both as a lecturer and on an individual basis, when dealing with a student one-on-one, the student and the tutor need to be equal partners in the session.
