I work as a math teacher at Tupelo Christian Preparatory School. While in college I tutored some of my peers. During my student teaching I was able to work one-on-one with many students in the classroom and I understand the different types of learning styles of students. Also during my student teaching I tutored high school students in math in the after school program and tutored privately for some other students whose parents wanted me to help their child. After graduating from Vanderbilt University I taught 5th grade for 2 years while working on my Master's at TSU. I then moved to the Knoxville area and taught K until my son was born in 2000. We then moved to Wisconsin where I taught in various after school programs until my 2 children were old enough for preschool. I then went back part time and taught 4 K until my 3rd child was born in 2005. Throughout this entire time I tutored various children ages 8 - 15 years if age.
