I recognize that students learn through different methods and I know how to present complex information in a variety of ways so that a student grasps the topic. My teaching style is trying to relate to each person and make everything easier for them. Dealing with A.D.D my entire life, I've learned how to break apart the entire problem(or essay) into better and more clear parts. A good educator needs to demand accountability from it's students. I believe that a student needs to do a little work every day, instead of a lot in one day. I stress that every student keeps a notebook that highlights main ideas in every subject. I have been through it, so I know what is important long-term.

I have always been a believer in giving students a foundation from which to learn and grow. I enjoy teaching students basic skills that can be applied to many different subject areas. For example, I think things like test-taking skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills are all things that can transfer between subject areas and even outside of the classroom.
