I have performed as a jazz, rock and classical musician for over 30 years. I specialize in woodwinds, sax, clarinet and flute. I also am a professional singer and composer. I have performed with bands from Alaska to Los Angeles to New York as well as a guest performer in bands in Thailand. I have played with such notables as Jimmy Heath, Chico Hamilton, Thara Memory, Christopher Woitach. I have studied with Thara Memory, Jimmy Heath, Arnold Freeman (composition).

Education has been my passion and dream for as long as I can remember. Furthermore, I followed my dream and graduated from Cal State California with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in History. Due to my education I am exceedingly familiar with classroom settings and the professionalism that comes with it. I also have accumulated plentiful hours of observations in different classrooms, along with many hours of volunteer help in numerous elementary and preschool classrooms. Within this past year I have done extensive studying for the CSET exam, this studying has furthered my understanding of the elementary educational testing.
