I have a degree in mechincal engineering. I have work at the math tutoring center on the ISU campus in 1995 and 1996. I have also worked at the ISU student Math center in Idaho falls in 2010 and 2011. Most of my experience is working with students that strugle with math. I work best with students whom want to learn but are in need of help. I would like to try some other subjects. I try to teach the student how to read the book and notes. I am friendly and kind.

I have a great passion for Spanish. I try my best to use it as much as I can in my work and make an effort to use it properly. I learned Spanish while serving an LDS mission in Mexico for two years. I made every second count while I studied and spoke with others. I took it very seriously and still do. Since I have learned Spanish, I have wanted to help others acquire the skill as well. Although gaining fluency in a language takes some time and a lot of effort and studying, one is still able to learn many areas and aspects of the language from a tutor. Some of the most important things I learned was when I talked with others and asked them questions. Each class is started with a question and answer period about any nutrition issue they might have. Most assignments have an aspect of self discovery so that each student can learn something about their nutrition status. I was a tutor for over 100 students for 2 years in finance and taght a class twice a week on Microsoft Excel. In high school I volunteered at an elementary school to help children with ADD and behavioral issues for 3 trimesters.
