Versatile Hands-on Tutor for all Age ranges

I prefer hands on teaching, but I like to remain flexible to the individuals learning style. Depending on the topics covered, we read, write, and do hands-on activities to keep the brain stimulated. Sometimes if applicable, and with parental consent, we would do art projects and maybe watch an educational film (that the parent has approved of course). For sciences and social studies I really like the idea of field trips, but everything will be permitted by the parental figures first. These field trips usually include going to parks and observing natural habitats, or even visiting the local museums. For Science and Math I employ an inquiry-based method of teaching/exploration. This allows for more meaningful learning and gives the student the opportunity to learn on his or her own before being given instruction by the teacher. This method is aligned with the STEM initiative in the United States.
