I have tutored students in the past tutoring American Sign Language. I have knowledge of Deaf Community and the culture that comes from it. I, myself use American Sign Language due to being hard of hearing. I have found American Sign Language is really easy to learn and use. I have experience in tutoring students in American Sign Language. I have spent time in the Deaf community, learning the different signs, culture, puns, facial expressions for 14 years. I am hard of hearing and use American Sign Language as well as being able to voice for myself. I have completed several American Sign Language Classes passed with a B or better.

I am currently enrolled in the Interpreter Training Program (IPP) at Ohlone College. I am fluent in American Sign Language production as well as linguistics. I work on an individual bases, and try to meet the needs of each client. If a client is proficient at receptively understanding Sign Language I will work on their production of signs and vice versa. I recieved top marks in all ASL classes 101 through 104 Upon completion I was accepted into the Ohlone College IPP Program and will be a certified interpreter in 2013.
