I am a very motivating person and tend to use humor as a method of teaching. I teach to and with the child and never down to him/her. I enjoy working with children and helping them meet academic goals. As a tutor my job would be to find out how a child learns best. Learning styles can include auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. Children also need engaging,interesting, and varied activities during their learning experiences.
