A Little Bit About Me...

Thirty-three years of teaching experience in not only the same school district, but the same school, has allowed me to finely hone my craft. My first 20 years were spent working with sixth-ninth graders in a middle school business classroom, enjoying the yearly curriculum changes in technology. My Master's focused on elementary education, and the opportunity to teach sixth grade Social Studies and Reading/Language Arts led to continued tutoring of students in all subjects. Each child has the capacity to learn and it is the teachers job to present the material in a manner which is conductive to the child’s understanding. Providing tools to help each student comprehend the material is essential.
