In high school, I was on our school's speech team, I competed at the varsity level all throughout high school. I placed at every competetion, without fail. I placed in advanced English classes in high school, and tested in to the second level of English classes at Western Illinois University my freshman year. I have won state wide writing competetions, and have a poem published in a book of young writers. I went to school for Journalism and Communications, but am currently taking a year off. I have also taken and passed the Illinois basic skills test, and took 2 years of Special Education courses at Western Illinois University.

I am a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). I worked at a public accounting (CPA) firm for 7 years. I love tutoring and teaching accounting. I am very friendly and easy to work with and establish positive working relationships easily. I worked as a tutor when I was in college. I recently sat for the CMA (Certified Managerial Accounting) Exam. I should be receiving my results soon. I believe I scored very high on the exam. I really enjoy tutoring and helping others out. I was an in-school suspension teacher for two years at Durand High and Middle School, helping students get caught up on their pre-algebra, social studies, science, English and Spanish homework. Previously to becoming a teacher I worked in industry as a project manager or assistant for different companies, using Spanish occasionally.
