Italian is one of my top subjects! I have my BA in Italian Studies as well as a Certification to teach Italian P-12. As a first generation Italian, I have plenty of experience with the Italian culture and language. I also spent a semester in Florence, Italy only continuing to perfect my speaking.

I have tutored various ages of students in Italian. I completed my student teaching in a high school, teaching various levels of Italian while using different techniques and styles of teaching in order to motivate the students. A Little Bit About Me...

I teach by the book all the grammar and syntax rules. Then, when the student is enough confident to make a basic conversation, I choose an everyday scenario and try to build the conversation around it. I also focus a lot on the writing, especially when wanting to use it for business. Business Italian is very formal and not straight forward like English and so needs a lot of practice and dedication. Besides teaching books, my teaching tools are TV programs, movies, radio shows, internet, magazines, newspapers and cooking books. A full-immersion in Italian is the right method to PARLARE ITALIANO!!
