A Little Bit About Me...

On the computer and graphics side my teaching style is to get you up and running as quickly as possible. It was a skill I had to develop during my 6 years of teaching multimedia student. Drawing is one of my top subjects! At Otis College of Art & Design, I am a Continuing Education instructor, teaching "Quick Sketch Techniques," "Perspective" & "Storyboarding." I also freelance as an illustrator, storyboard artist & a concept designer.

I like to figure out what a student really wants to know & why he/she has this desire. Then, I like to know how best they learn. We all take in information differently. For example, it's easy for me to retain info related to social studies, history, artwork & details about writing a good narrative. This IS NOT true for me when dealing with science subjects. So, when I endeavored to get the BEST grade that I could when taking a requisite science course in college, I had to spend 3Xs as much effort in my studies. (I got an 89%.) This reminded me that I can do my best & get good results. It also reminded wherein my intellectual strengths lie.
