My parents noticed when I was very young that I had natural artistic ability and put me into private art lessons. I had training for two years in all mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and pencil drawing. Throughout the years, I have become self-taught in my artistic life, learning and attempting other skills such as pointillism and pen/ink drawing. Most recently, I took two years in courses at LAAFA (Los Angeles of Figurative Art, further developing my skills in oil painting and drawing. I like to see where the student is at, what they are interested to learn and go from there. I like to expose them to all areas if they are open as I feel it can help them in other ways to enhance other skills. It is important for students to move at their own pace, while encouraging them.
