Graduated from Seton Hall University, located in South Orange, NJ with a bachelor's degree in biology. Studied science for 5 years in college with an emphasis on medical courses to eventually pursue a degree as a physician assistant. Strong background in math (algebra, calculus, statistics) and sciences (biology and chemistry). I am currently in my last semester of my Masters program at St. John’s University and will have my New York State Initial certification in K-6 by May 2011.As a student teacher in the first and fourth grade classrooms, I have been able to utilize and build upon the courses taken as part of my education. I was able to design and implement my own lesson plans, as well as modify to meet the needs of all students.
